 Demonstration Table

The table consists of a tabletop, a hanging cabinet, and a metal frame. The left side of the tabletop is designed to accommodate a laboratory sink with a faucet.

A pull-out drawer equipped with full-extension ball-bearing slides is located under the tabletop. The hanging cabinet is equipped with two pull-out drawers on full-extension ball-bearing slides, two open shelves—one of which is height-adjustable—and doors that provide access to the sink service area.

The metal frames are connected to each other by the countertop and the front panel. Black plastic handles are used to open the drawers and doors.

The design allows for additional securing of the table to the floor. The table is mounted on adjustable legs that compensate for uneven floors.

Table dimensions:

• width — 1,200 mm;
• depth — 750 mm;
• height — 900 mm.

Materials and Structural Elements

The table’s wooden components are made of 18-mm-thick laminated particleboard. The tabletop’s working surface is covered with 0.4–0.5 mm thick HPL plastic.

The edges of all wooden components are finished with PVC edging:

• visible edges — 1.0 mm thick;
• hidden edges — 0.5 mm thick.

The table’s metal components are made of 40×20×1.2 mm rectangular profile tubing and 30×15×1.2 mm and 38×20×1.2 mm flat-oval profiles. The surface of the metal parts has a protective and decorative powder-coated finish.

Plastic end caps are installed on the ends of the metal frame to prevent damage to the floor and reduce the risk of injury to students.

bracket for routing electrical wires.

The bracket for routing electrical wires can be installed in two positions—on the right side of the work surface, secured in either the upper or lower position.
